fresco mural, done in plaster with hand drawing and white gold leaf · Dinning Room · Silver Lake, California

Amy Sklar Interior Design

This was truly a dream project! The Brief was to create a panoramic landscape mural of iconic places in Silver Lake both urban and natural. The Client was looking for soft atmosphere with a specific pallet. We used a unique approach to creating this mural, a modern version of fresco was used to create soft color with slight polish in some areas. Final details were drawn in to define areas and white gold was used to accent electrical towers and power lines.
